Matthias Hoppe practices almost exclusively as a civil law notary covering all legal issues that require notarization. Besides real estate transactions and corporate issues he focuses on matters that combine legal and tax aspects like mergers, corporate reorganization, successions and last wills. These legal areas coincide with his activities as attorney/tax consultant where he is often called upon as a first point of contact by foreign clients to organize their German activities or private clients having to handle German law question of an estate or a succession benefitting from his prior experience in an international law firm.
He is frequently called upon German-French legal issues by his network of French professionals. He publishes on a regular basis to real estate related tax law issues and is part of the team of legal professionals publishing a handbook on limited liability partnerships in numerous editions since 2005.
